Robotics Programming

Class Description

Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 12:00pm (Pacific Time)
Maximum Class Size: 6

Learn competitive robot programming with ROBOTC using Robot Virtual Worlds. No Robot, No Problem! Robot Virtual Worlds is a high-end simulation environment that enables students, without robots, to learn robotics programming, run mock robot competitions, program robots to solve challenges and so much more!

Research has shown that learning to program robots with RVW is more efficient than learning to program using physical robots. RVW simulates popular real world VEX® and LEGO® robots in 3D environments while using the same language, ROBOTC, to program them. Finished programs can be uploaded to physical robots once perfected in a virtual environment. Robot Virtual Worlds creates a perfect environment for home, classroom, and competition robots!

Project Description

This class has everyone work together to program robots that solve various challenges.

Learn to complete FIRST Robotics Challenges as individuals and on small teams. Then at the end of the week compete in a Mock FIRST Robotics Competiton.

This class can be taken up to 4 times with 100% unique lessons and curriculum in each session.
